Do not listen to the captain that tells you to not make waves.
Every boat, no matter the size or speed, will make waves in its journey. Even dead bodies floating in the water make ripples. But you have yet to succumb to Davy Jones’s locker, so there are no excuses here. You will tell your stories of exploration, bravery, survival, and let them be carried on the sails of your ships, with your flags flying proudly atop your vessel.
Do not apologize for the waves you make, no sea legends have come from still waters.
