“Hi”

“Hi”

These two letters sent from your mouth to my ears don’t need stamps.  They ignore long distances, surpass weather conditions, and are never late. Not always expected but always loved and appreciated.  They are envelopes with my name sprawled across the backs, sealed with your lips, wanting to be opened, with notes of conversations waiting to be read.  And I’ll always return to sender with two letters of my own.

“Hi”
